We collect as little as we can, we don't sell it, and we'll tell you plainly what happens to it.

Who we are
FYNE Motion is a Ghanaian athleisure brand, registered in Ghana as a sole proprietorship under the Registration of Business Names Act, 1962 (Act 151), registration number BN018730826. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything about your personal information, write to fynemotion@gmail.com. We handle your data under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
What we collect
Only what an order or a request actually needs:
- When you order: your name, email address, delivery address and chosen delivery area.
- When you join our list: your email address, and your birthday if you choose to give it.
- When you apply to be an ambassador: your name, email, social handle, city and what you write to us.
- Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, until you check out.
We never see your card or mobile money details. Those go directly to Paystack, our payment processor, and never touch our systems.
Why we hold it
To take payment, deliver your order, answer your messages, and — if you asked for it — send you occasional emails about drops and offers. We also keep a record of sales because we have to: it's how we run the business and meet our tax obligations.
Who else sees it
Only the services we need to run the shop. Each sees the minimum for its job, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes:
- Paystack — takes payment and holds the payment record.
- Microsoft — our order and customer records live in a Microsoft 365 workbook.
- Resend and Brevo — send your order confirmation and, if you subscribed, our newsletter.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Meta — receives the browsing and purchase events described under Cookies and tracking below.
- Our delivery courier — receives your name, address and phone number so they can find you.
Some of these operate outside Ghana, which means your information may be processed abroad. We only use established providers who protect it properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never will.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years, as tax rules require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe — every email has a one-click link. Ambassador applications are kept for one year unless you join the programme.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email fynemotion@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep order records even after a deletion request, because the law requires it — we'll tell you if that applies.
If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
Cookies and tracking
Your cart and currency preference are saved in your browser's own storage so your basket survives a refresh. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.
We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to understand which of our adverts and posts actually lead to orders, and to show our pieces to people likely to be interested. It records the pages you view, when you add something to your basket, and when you complete an order — including the order value.
That information goes to Meta and is tied to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. We never send Meta your name, address or payment details. You can opt out through your Facebook ad preferences, or by blocking trackers in your browser — the shop works exactly the same either way.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll tell subscribers by email rather than expecting you to check.
Questions about any of this? Message us on WhatsApp or email — we answer every one.
